As you disembark from your flight you will be warmly greeted by our travel representatives. They will be holding a sign with your name written on it. You will be assisted with your luggage. Furthermore, you will be escorted to a luxury ride with a cool, crisp bottle of champagne and a greeting letter welcoming you to the island. Finally, you will be transported from the airport to your residence so that you can check-in.

Take a 20 minute flight to our sister island Carriacou. Meet your certified nature guide Allison, who will take you on a two and a half hour island tour. Explore the history and life on Carriacou while visiting natural and historical sites around the island. Enjoy a hearty lunch at Paradise Beach and take a little powerboat over to Sandy Island Marine Protected Area to snorkel, roam and relax on the beach. Conclude your day of adventure with a scenic ferry ride back to Grenada.

Enjoy an open top drive along the east coast and the rainforest. Driving up the east coast the first stop brings you to an off-the-beaten-track Sulphur pond in the mountains. Enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating soak in the rain forest with good company and hummingbirds. Descending back into the river valley you get to cascade and whirl in oversized tubes down the Balthazar River. The river is waist deep and helpers will guide rafters when necessary along the misty river bank.

A four-hour trip with the prospect of seeing dolphins and whales. Sei, sperm, dwarf sperm, pilot and melon-headed whales are resident; between December and April you may see many more than these.

Take a morning out in search of the ‘other’ locals, with names like Short Fin Pilot, Sei, Dwarf and Pigmy Sperm. And then there are the dolphins: common, Spotted, Bottle Nosed, Frazers… A sighting cannot be guaranteed, but even if the whales aren’t out when you call, it’s an exhilarating morning on the water.

Our first stop is Concord Waterfall, a 2 km drive up a leafy lane beside a stream, dotted with Grenadian agriculture: nutmeg, bananas, cocoa, and many other plants of interest. At this stop you can use toilets & buy souvenirs like spices & jewelry.
The nutmeg “pool” in Gouyave is our next stop: you are shown the, processing and sorting of nutmegs and mace. Nutmeg products vary from syrup to massage oil, garden mulch to nail varnish; even a pain-relieving spray. At this stop you can use toilets & buy spices as well as other nutmeg products. We continue northward to a magnificent view of Grenada’s Grenadine islands (visibility varies), and of the place where the last fighting Caribs committed suicide in 1651, overwhelmed by the prospect of French rule. We do not visit the monument itself, but view it from a hill above. In the afternoon, we continue through La Poterie and Tivoli, then through Pearls Airport, disused since the Americans ‘intervened’ in 1983. Today, sheep graze under the remains of two old Soviet-built planes.

You have no activity schedule for today. Today is your final day to relax and unwind before heading back home. Take advantage of the hotel amenities, book a spa appointment or soak in the sun at the pool side.
